Lessons

  1. Understand the basics of what makes a good communicator, and look in detail at EYE CONTACT and GESTURES. 
  2. Understanding the core communication tools of ENERGY and VOICE and how they impact upon the AUDIENCE. 
  3. To understand and overcome our NERVES and ANXIETIES about talking in front of people, and building our CONFIDENCE
  4.  Presenting simple information and getting FEEDBACK on how you’re coming across to the audience
  5. Finishing individual presentations and feedback, and understanding how audiences make decisions about people.

Toby Wilsher was a pioneer of Arts-based training in the early 1990’s, and has taught Communication Skills to countless businesses in over 30 countries.  He is a qualified NLP practitioner and EMCC coach.

This SoW comprises 5 lessons, introducing a toolbox of personal communication skills to help young people thrive in education, work and everyday life too.

Each lesson has numerous practical exercises and discussion points designed help participants gain confidence in various situations, from one to one and one to many scenarios, and can be easily adapted for students from different age groups.
