Description

A Scheme of Work for online delivery, introducing Puppetry to KS3 or KS4
Created by The Mask Workshop
This SoW comprises 6 lessons, introducing the concept of modern puppetry to learners, identifying the skills needed to animate any object and finally making a simple puppet at home and creating a short film. Not being able to access face to face teaching must be hardest for drama teachers! So we’ve designed this SoW to help you introduce an area of theatre that is very focused on the skills and creativity of your learners. No studying texts or practitioners. These lessons are practical, with simple skills to impart and video examples to watch to see these skills working. The lessons are designed to be short, provoke discussions and set up the main work, their home task.
