Here’s a bit about me to Kick things off….
As Co-founder of Trestle Theatre Co, and its Artistic Director for 24 years, I’ve created 36 mask shows which have toured worldwide. I’ve also created 3 mask theatre shows for the State Theatre of Turkey, worked in Opera, Youth Theatre and universities. I co-designed the Trestle Mask Sets and have made the new masks for The Mask Workshop. My shows have played every conceivable venue, from Sydney Opera house and the National Theatre, to Trade and Labour clubs around Merseyside, villages in Southern France, an open field in Ecuador and on the Bund in Shanghai. I’ve always engaged fully with students, be it at any level of study, from 14yr olds through to Masters degree. I’m always happy to be contacted and answer all manner of questions about my practice and experience, from anywhere in the world.
